Do you sometimes lose your mouse pointer on the screen?
If you don't use a mouse pad with your optical mouse, you might have seen your pointer jump from one end of the screen to the other. It happens to me all the time. Instead of moving your mouse wildly to relocate the pointer, you should try this trick to find your mouse instantly.
First you have to change a simple setting.
Go to >Start >control panel (classic view) >mouse.
Choose the tab >pointer options.
Check the box >Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key and click >OK.
Finally close the control panel.
And the next time you don't know where your pointer is, just click the CTRL key.
